Junior Academy (Ages 9-10 & 11–12)

Our 11U, 12U and 13U Boys and Girls Competitive teams are all graduates from our Junior Academy League program and all enjoy tremendous success every competitive season, they can perform at an outstanding level thanks to the great overall skills development we provide our players in this program.

We will continue offering a great 9-week program with experienced coaches from our club and enthusiastic monitors who have developed exceptional coaching skills that add to the program. The Junior Academy League focuses on all volleyball fundamental skills and game-like experience following the LTAD approach promoted by Volleyball Canada.

Due to the increased number of participants and with the little athletes best interest in mind, we have divided the Junior Academy Program in two groups to follow Ontario Volleyball's Early Contact Iniciative (ECI). Anchored in the principles of Long Term Development (LTD), the ECI is a set of rules geared toward assisting entry level players find the appropriate entry point along the OVA’s competition pathway. SPRING SESSIONS (APR-JUN)

•11-12 years old at East Lions Community Centre (1731 Churchill Avenue)
6x6 Rallyball
•9-10 years old at Shark Tank (2181 Spitfire Rd.)
4x4 Rallyball (Played on a smaller court)
Duration: Apr 6th to Jun 8th (10 weeks/20 hours)

REFUNDS

  • Refund requests must be submitted 48 hours prior to the start of the 2nd scheduled class.
